Been a while

Haven't posted in a long time. I've enjoyed most of my summer outside of Seattle and failed to post up some pictures. So rather than dive back in the past, I will continue to post up new and recent pictures.

Here is a shot of the Hoh River:

And here is a sweet new hipster game we made up; River Rollin' Bowlin':

Adventure

It was 4 months ago, today, when the new engine was lifted up into the van and its today I officially and personally decide to test my own work, perseverance, patience, commitment, ingenuity, sense of adventure and direction. American Road Trip in a van engineered in Westfalia, powered by Detroit muscle and driven by two adventurous love birds , here we come.

Skank

Got word of a Ska night at one of the smaller venues in Seattle ;) . The place was awesome, it even had a hidden pinball room downstairs. The bands were great as were all the people there. If you want to experience energy and movement and music, look no further then Seattle's Ska scene.

props to Natalie Wouldn't; good show!

Serenity

Caught this sunset while sea kayaking in the puget sound. Paddling our kayaks out in the smooth and calm water we experienced a most beautiful scene. The sound underneath our boats, the surrounding green trees, Olympic range, and the sun setting provided a feeling of pure serenity.

Home

We headed out to enjoy the afternoon and tell our stories from New Years. We decided to venture out and found this somewhat secluded park. Plopped on one of the comfiest benches I have been on in a while we watched the sunset and talked about the ridiculous and humorous events from New Years. It was relaxing and peaceful. Many people walked by with their dogs and ALL had smiles on their faces (How could you not with this view). The park felt warm and sheltered and the trees on the hill behind added the effect of a giant blanket. At some point in time a train went by behind us, adding even more to the ambiance of the afternoon. I felt calm, relaxed, with the epic sunset and view of the mountains, I felt at home.
